Visual Journaling - Creative Workout for the New Year

Join our Parkinson’s Fitness Group, led by PWRMoves! certified exercise specialists. These beginner-friendly classes introduce movement techniques designed to support strength, balance, and mobility.

Women Who Run with the Wolves Part II

Over the course of four weeks, we’ll gather to study, reflect, and dive deeper into another myth and fairy tale from this incredible book—exploring how its wisdom connects to our lives today.
This is a fun, creative, and often profound time where stories become the medicine we may need.
Bring your curiosity, openness, the book, and a pen and paper—that’s all you need.

How to Train an Elephant and Other Adventures in Mindfulness

Take a fun Spring class and discover simple mindfulness practices for living more fully and joyfully. Based on the book of the same name, we’ll explore how mindfulness helps conserve energy, strengthen the mind, support the environment, and improve quality of life.

If you’ve thought mindfulness takes too much time, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by these down-to-earth exercises anyone can do. As Jack Kornfield says, this book “is a jewel box of insightful, wise, beautiful, and compassionate ways to practice mindfulness in your daily life.”

Caregivers Program

The purpose of this program is to improve the quality of care while reducing strain on caregivers as they support and empower the individuals they care for. Participants will gain knowledge and skills in nutrition, stress relief, and proper exercise techniques to protect the body during transfers and other caregiving activities.

Matter of Balance

As adults age, the fear of falling often becomes more prevalent. This 8-week program is designed to help participants manage those concerns, reduce fear, and increase overall activity levels. Members will learn the importance of strength, agility, and balance exercises—and how each plays a key role in preventing falls.

Beginning Memoir Writing
September 5 - 26

This Fall course will introduce you to different ways of capturing your life stories as well as family stories. We’ll begin with small steps—working with our own experiences to gather the stories that hold meaning for us. Together, we’ll explore what a memoir is and practice different writing techniques to help us get started. By reflecting on family sayings, mementos, and heirlooms, we’ll begin putting on paper the memories and ideas that surface. There is no right or wrong way to do this—only your way.

Alpine Ski Conditioning

Prepare your body for the slopes with a targeted training plan designed to enhance lower-body strength and build a solid core foundation. This progressive program starts with fundamental strength-building exercises and gradually advances to dynamic movements tailored to the demands of downhill skiing. Whether you're carving groomers or charging through powder, you'll feel strong, stable, and confident when ski season arrives.

Exercise for Post-Natal Women

This specialized program is designed for women in the postnatal stage, offering safe, supportive workouts led by a certified instructor with advanced training in pre- and postnatal fitness.

Each session focuses on rebuilding core strength, improving pelvic floor function, posture, and overall energy—helping you feel stronger, more confident, and more connected to your body. With mindful movement and gradual progression, you'll train at your own pace in a welcoming, encouraging environment.

Strength Training Principles for Bone Density

Learn about the specific strength training principles required to improve bone density. This four-week course is designed to provide you with all the relevant information you need to structure your own workouts around enhancing bone health. You'll also have the opportunity to practice exercises that are appropriate for your individual fitness level, ensuring both safety and effectiveness.

Holiday Hustle
November 18 - December 16

Each week of Holiday Hustle includes a specific workload goal—starting with a bodyweight circuit and progressing to an advanced workout by the end of the four-week program.

Along the way, you’ll improve fitness levels, boost energy, reduce stress, and build healthy habits to carry into the New Year.

At the end of the program, each participant will receive a take-home kit with all the workouts and three healthy recipes to help keep the momentum going.
