What are your Holiday hours?

Thanksgiving Day, 5 a.m. - Noon. Christmas Eve, 5 a.m. - Noon. Christmas Day, Closed. New Years Day 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

 

How do I log in to my member portal?

The member portal is located at the top right corner of the webpage. Your user name and password is the four-digit code on the back of your member key tag. You will be prompted to change your password upon your first login. If you are locked out of your account, contact the front desk and we will reset your password. 

 

Do you offer Nutrition Counseling?

Yes, Adirondack Health Medical Fitness Center has a Registered Dietitian. Joni is here on Tuesdays from 1:30 to 3:45 p.m. Sessions are 45-minutes long and cost $45 for members and $55 for nonmembers.

 

 

Do you offer personal training?

Yes, Adirondack Health Medical Fitness Center has certified personal trainers.

 

How many days a week should I strength train and/or workout? How many reps and sets should I do? How do I know how much weight to lift?

Adirondack Health Medical Fitness Center has certified personal trainers that can answer this for you based on your current fitness level. Members and nonmembers can make an appointment for a half-hour or hour session with a personal trainer who will able to answer all of these questions for you and as well as develop a training plan for your future. Please see below for prices.

 

How much is fitness coaching?

Members: $25 for a half-hour, $45 for an hour

Nonmembers: $30 for a half-hour, $55 for an hour

 

What are your hours?

5 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday through Friday

8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

 

Please note that the pool opens a half-hour after the facility opens, and closes a half-hour before the facility closes.

 

When are your busiest times?

Our busiest times are between 9 and 10 a.m. and 4 and 6 p.m.

 

What are the pool hours?

Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

The pool is closed for cleaning Monday – Friday from 2 – 4 p.m.

Saturday – Sunday 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

 

Are swim caps required?

Yes, swim caps are required while using the pool.

 

How do I freeze or cancel my membership?

  • All cancelation requests and freeze forms need to be processed and approved by the general manager.

  • Cancelation and freeze requests need to be received by the 20th of the month in order to stop billing for the 1st of the following month. Billing is processed on the 25th of the month.

 

How often can I freeze my membership?

You can freeze your membership one time within a 12-month agreement.

 

Is there a fee to freeze my membership?

There is a one-time $20 fee each time you freeze your membership.

 

Do you have a lost and found?

Yes, our lost and found is behind the front desk. Items are kept for no more than two weeks and then will be donated to a local charitable organization.

 

Can my kids use the pool?

Children may use the pool during the family swim, a member-only benefit on Sundays from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

At times outside of family swim time, children must be 13 years of age or older to use the pool. Those between 13 and 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

 

What is the policy for kids using the fitness facility?

Kids must be 13 years of age or older to use the facility. Those between 13 and 15 years old must be closely accompanied by an adult at all times.

 

What are the policies for children in the locker rooms?

Children under the age of 4 must be accompanied by a responsible adult and may access the locker room corresponding to the gender of the accompanying adult. Children 4 years old and older are limited to the locker room corresponding to their own gender, or they may use the family bathroom in the pool area. We ask that adults do their best to respect the modesty of all of the other adults while in the locker rooms with children.

 

Can I change my membership from a family to a single or couple, or change my membership from a single to a couple/family?

Yes, you can change memberships from family to single or couple, or family/couple to single. The primary member will remain the primary member and needs to be the one to make the change in person at the front desk.

 

Can I keep my locker when my membership is on freeze?

If you keep your locker while your membership is on freeze, you will still pay the $20-a-month locker fee during that period of time.

 

How much is it to rent a locker?

We have day-use lockers for no cost. If you would like to rent a locker, it is $20 per month.

 

Can I get a pass to use only the pool?

We have $ 20-day passes that allow the use of the entire facility, including the pool, gym, and any group fitness class. We do not offer a pass for only pool use.

 

Do members have guest passes?

Yes, members are allowed to bring a guest for $15. Their guest must sign the facility’s liability waiver at the front desk and pay for their guest pass with the member present to use the facility.

 

Do I have to have a 12-month agreement?

We recommend the 12-month agreement to take advantage of the lower monthly membership rates. We also offer 30-day passes with no agreement for $95 and day passes for $20.

 

Why do I have to pay an initiation fee?

The initiation fee is a one-time fee for your 12-month agreement cost. The monthly dues for a 12-month agreement are discounted and the fee helps offset the costs associated with membership benefits, such as the free health assessment, free group fitness classes, access to family swim, etc.

 

Can I attend only a group fitness class as a nonmember?

Yes, as a nonmember, you can go to any of our group fitness classes for a drop-in rate of $15. If you would like to use the rest of the facility while you are here, you will have to purchase a full day pass at $20.
